Here is Rachel just a few minutes old. She wasn't too happy about the whole thing!!
Finally getting to enjoy her after all the crazy!!
Ya she is cute but it is almost 3 in the morning!!
When we got home from the hospital Benjamin, Ruthie and Leah were anxiously awaiting our arrival. They were so excited to see "the new baby", and of course couldn't keep their hands off her so the hold didn't last too long!
Mary and James had to wait until they got home from school which wasn't that much longer. They thought she was pretty fun too!!
At the end of the day we sat down to get a "family" photo.
Benjamin kept the same perfect pose the entire time. James was trying hard not to be silly and happy to be the closest to her. Mom is thinking "don't be too critical of me I just had a baby 16 hours ago"!! Leah is sad because she isn't holding Rachel and Ruthie keeps reaching for her. Dad thinks that there have been plenty of flashes today. Mary is probably feeling the reality of being oldest of 6!!!
It has been such a fun week to have her here and know that tomorrow will bring the reality of it as I begin a new week without my wonderful help!!
